1.3 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Despite pouring the beer into the middle of the glass, the thin head could not even cover the surface. The body is clear, light straw colored.
There is absolutely no aroma, which might be a good thing.
The taste is a little grain, metal and mild bitter at the end.
The texture is crisp with a high carbonation.
Not a good beer.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bottle from colonial Spirits labeled Famosa.
Pours a crystal clear deep straw/light golden color with a huge frothy tightly bubbled head that lasts forever. Aromas of skunk at opening faded quickly. Light ashy mineral aromas with faint sweet malt and hints of apple and hops. The flavor is non descript fruity sweet with a hint of caramel. Little to no hop flavor or bitterness. Nothing horribly objectionable, but nothing exciting either. If I were baking in the Guatemala sun an ice cold Famosa just might do the trick.

Very pale yellow; grassy aroma with some sour pear, and hay; very light body, overcarbonated, slightly soapy texture to the thin head; no malt at all, and only a hint of grassy hoppiness; some plastic undertones; harsh chemical aftertaste.

0.7 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 2/20
Fra prøveflaske, rester etter RBHD-samling på Askje 18.11.14: nesten fargeløs og uten skum. Lukter og smaker som urinal på ti meters avstand. Trolig det dårligste øl jeg noensinne har smakt. "Characterisitic body, fine bitterness and delicate aroma"??????

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
12oz bottle at Baby Wale in DC, labeled as Famosa, pours a clear gold with some thin white head and lots of apparent carbonation. Nose has some stale grains, a little moldy grass, a little wet newspaper. Flavor follows along, moldy grains, watery, lightly metallic, some lemon. Mercifully watery finish.
