Very pale yellow color with a medium sized soapy white head. Nose is corn salt and some light struck char. Taste is some what charred maybe burnt with corn and barly. Not much different than most PLs.

Jun 12, 2008 Bottle courtesy of Daknole. Back to Latin America with Guatemala. Pours a very light gold with initial 2 finger white head that fades quickly into a soap scum. Nose is honey and grain with a little weird funky smell to it. Taste is sweet corn, grain and a bit of bitter hops in the finish. Medium mouth feel with spotty lacing. Not bad for what it is.

May 29, 2008 This is certainly the TOP Guatamalan beer I have had...EVER! Skunky, cornoa-esque flavor. Bonus that my bottle was over a year old...aged to perfection!

May 25, 2008 [Famosa Bottle] I don’t know... but the bottle I had was pretty good... =p. Sweet skunked funky German hops. Pours a faint champagne color with large carbonation bubbles and a sparkly fizz. Extremely clean light lager flavor... lagers are supposed to be clean aren’t they? Grassy, light grains, funky and sweet with some pepper. Really crisp and light body, sparkly carbonation... very easy drinking.

May 23, 2008 Pale, pale pour with thin head. Grainy funky aroma, slight citrus and grassy hop aromas. Standard thin flavored lager. You could use this to was your glass out between good beers, or ase an alternative to Guatemalan water, but other than that it’s pretty worthless.

May 22, 2008 Kind of skunky light lager aroma. Mostly malt. About as pale of a yellow as possible in color. Thin and watery in flavor, and again, mostly light and malty. Bitter finish. Very little happening in this beer.
