Bay Ale is a copper coloured, traditional ale with malt and hop aromas and a smooth and well-balanced flavour.
Hoppy, yet malt-forward this ale strikes a great balance. Using Northern Brewer, Bobek and Willamette hops alongside a strong malt backbone this beer is both for savoring and thirst-quenching, depending on your mood.
Speciality Malts - Brown, Crystal & Munich
Hops (33 IBU) - Northern Brewer, Bobek and Willamette(Note: Change of Hop from Perle to Northern Brewer)

Sample at Oslo in Galway. This beer pours a clear amber color with a medium off-white head that dissipates quickly. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt and slight hops. Light-bodied with flavors of caramel malt and grassy hops. The finish is sweet with a short malty aftertaste. Slightly above average overall. Slightly above average overall.

On tap at The Brew Dock, pours a clear amber with a small white head. Nose is quite floral, with bready notes and some light toffee. Flavour is fairly boring, with bready notes and dry hops to back. Not much character to this one. Leaves something to be desired.

500ml bottle - thanks Mari and Marduk!
Just past its BB. Gusher, wormed for ages. Slightly latvian aroma. Bland malts. Bland taste too. Just some slightly sweet malts. Waste of water. Anna’s glass was more lactic and more harshly bitter. My glass was sharper, shards all over the floor, in fact.

Draft pour. The beer is a darker copper color with a white head of foam. The aroma is tea-like with caramel notes as well. The taste is moderately sweet with a touch of a bitter finish. Pretty good!

Keg at Against The Grain, Dublin. It pours a clean golden color with a small off-white head. Aroma is candy sugar, almonds, grassy hops and earth. Taste is sweet-bitter up front with a little hoppy bitter kick. Quite dry in the finish. Notes of candy sugar, pine needles, grass and dried hops. Body is medium with lively carbonation. Overall, ok

500ml bottle (thanks Maili). GUSHER!!!! Murky amber color. Medium size, yellow head, stays. Dirty cloth, husky, grainy, milky notes in aroma. Malty, husky, sweet, some fruitiness behind all that acidic sour crisp infection. Infected beer. Must drink again.
