Sample at Oslo in Galway. This beer pours a clear amber color with a medium off-white head that dissipates quickly. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt and slight hops. Light-bodied with flavors of caramel malt and grassy hops. The finish is sweet with a short malty aftertaste. Slightly above average overall. Slightly above average overall.

Reddish-amber. More of a herbal, earthy aroma compared with the lager. Slightly berryish and woodsy in its hop character. Not bad, fruity, a decent American-style amber.

AKA Oslo Bar, Draft @ Against the Grain, Dublin and also at Salt Bar, Galway. Deep copper-colored. Smells like American hops. Soft but thin palate. Pallid flavors. Just a bunch of peppery hops. Barely a malt backbone to be seen, just a bit of bland dragonfruit-like flavorless disappointment.

On tap at Salthouse, Galway. Appearance: golden red with a very small white head. Aroma: Grassy hops, hay, notes of lemon, malt and honey. Flavour: wow, mildly fruity, a little honey, quite mild hop kick, lovely smooth mouthfeel, long bitter finish. Delightful.
