Bottle from KWM Wines Kilkeel.
Slightly on the watery side with a sweet smokey tobacco coffee mix. Good fizz on the pour with a toffee coloured head that quickly disappears.
Easy to drink sweet tasting stout. If only it had a greasier mouth feel.

Pint on keg at The Salt House, Galway, Ireland (€5):
This one was a very nice first beer from the Galway Bay Brewery & one that I was happy to have tracked down after much searching in the city’s bars that day. The beer was a very well-balanced, smooth offering that started with quite a lot of chocolate flavours coming through & a decent amount of sweetness too; an excellent stout & one that I’d be happy to go back to in the future.
