Milk Chocolate Stout
Decadent and complex while remaining wholly refreshing and drinkable. This Stout is brewed with Milk Sugars and Chocolate to give rich flavours and body that goes down smooth.
Taste of Chocolate and smooth mouthfeel, due to the additions of Dark Chocolate and Milk Sugars (Lactose) respectively. While dark, rich and decadent this beer finds balance and subtlety in its lightness and drinkability. Great for matching with sweeter dishes and intense desserts.
Speciality Malts - Oats, Munich, Chocolate, Crystal, Roast Barley
Hops (32 IBU) - Magnum, Cascade

Topzwart, prima schuim, heerlijke geur met veel chocola. Smaak is daarna wat minder, er zit er iets bij dat me niet zo smaakt.

A nice chocolate stout, I found it to be mild in the aroma and a bit watery in body but you can get the hints of chocolate milk.

The beer has a perfect stout appearance. The color is black to the eye and ruby red in the light. The beer is so dark, that I can’t tell wether it is clear or cloudy. The beer pours a nice layer of soft foam, with the color of roasted almonds. The smell of the beer is mild. There is a little aroma of chocolate and roasted barley. There could be more roast and smoke. It is a little mild now. It misses some depth. The however compensates for the mild smell. There is a rich chocolate flavor, and lovely touches of roasted barley, coffee and some oakwood and smoke. The rich toasty bitterness with the sweet chocolate is make a lovely combination. The palate is nice. Milky and soft. A little more creaminess would have been nice. Beers like this make me remember how much I love stout. I wish more Dutch brewers would make beers like this. Beautiful.

From tap. POurs dark brown to black, small brown head. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate. Lingering rich malt flavoured, coffee and chocolate notes. Lingering bitterness swept through the rich malt base into a medium, yet slight sweet finish.

Tap at Brewdog Liverpool. Black with a beige head, laces nicely. Aroma of chocolate and esters. Sweet with a decent smooth mouthfeel. Medium body, average to low carbonation. Pretty good but nothing extraordinary.

On tap, the beer market, Dublin. Pours in black body with creamy tan head, long lacing. Aroma has chocolate notes, little bit roasty, floral. Taste has chocolate sweetness upfront, roasty touches, finish is sweet as well. Body is medium-low, little bit watery but with soft carbonation.

Keg. Pours dark brown/black with tiny mocha head. Aroma of chocolate milk, oats and coffee. Taste is sweet chocolate milk with light filter coffee style bitterness to finish. Really enjoyed this - would be even better if it was a bit thicker.
