DIPA with massive malt backbone, hopped with Galena, Chinook, Pacific Jade and Simcoe in the kettle, and two dry hop additions to boot! Massive pine-wood aromas up front with a hint of exotic spice in the background. Big bitterness of 132 IBU’s provides a soft, lingering bite, balanced by the 8.5% ABV.

Bottle from a swap from Beersiveknown. Many thanks Steve! Lots and lots of hoppy aroma and flavour. Exotic, Simcoe, also citrusy, piney. Pretty complex hoppiness with a really high bitterness. Malt in the background. Great beer.

0,5l bottle at Bratislava Evening Tasting. BB 11.08.2016. orange very hazy color, small off-white head. smells of grass, light off-note / bit barnyardish, pines, candy, some mango. light off-notes but not too bad. full body, soft carboantion, slick mouthfeel. tastes of grass, mango, light pines, citric, bit candiish, bit peppery, rather malt heavy, finishes light to medium bitter (balanced by the maltiness) with notes of pines, candy and rather citric. overall decent stuff, a bit candiish and heavy towards the finish, very light off-notes but still quite enjoyable. good beer.

[Bottle (500ml) shared with HogTownHarry, GregClow, jercraigs & mabel -- c/o garthicus] Pours a murky amber-copper with an average size semi-lasting frothy white head. NIce aroma, lots of leafy and resiny hops, malty too with a hint of alcohol. Malty & hoppy flavour with a nice bitter finish. Some alcohol but reasonably well hidden. Average to medium bodied. Pretty good stuff.

Have had a few bottles of this at home over the past few months. Fruity aroma. Dark orange opaque. Flavour intense, complex citrus, fruit with a nice lingering bitterness. You don?t really taste the alcohol considering abv. Really great beer and my favourite Irish DIPA at the moment.

[7943-20151120] 500mL bottle. Fragrant orange syrup (almost to the point of concentrated urine) aroma. Hazy, dark amber orange body with a long-lasting foamy off-white head. Syrupy harsh orange citrus peel and pithy earth flavour. Medium-full body is quite bold and boozy. Interesting and thick. (8/3/7/4-/15) 3.7

Probably the best beer I’ve ever tried. Great aroma, taste, hoppiness. The only thing I miss about Ireland. I wish it was popular worldwide.
