COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Named in reference to the first sheriff in Bellefonte, Duncan’s Oatmeal Stout pours thick and heavy. Generous amounts of Oatmeal and Roasted Barley offer a smooth, malty and burnt character. The Duncan is poured with nitrogen and has a low carbonation.

Draft. Pours deep, dark brown with average, frothy tan head; short retention and minimal lacing. Aroma is roasted malts, coffee, toffee, earthy hops, and dark fruit. Flavor is heavy roasted malt, average earthy hops, average dark fruit esters, and light smoke; well balanced with a dry coffee finish. Medium body and carbonation with low warmth.

Tap. Pours black with a medium, fizzy tan head, medium retention with light lacing. Aroma is peat, prunes, smoke, leather, roast and coffee malt, and woody hops. Flavor is malt forward with medium hops and bitterness, dark fruity esters, smoke, peat and a dry finish. Light body and warmth with medium carbonation.
