Aroma is kind of like dirty grain water. Sort of skunky and like a normal light lager. Not a bad beer. It’s the style.

Has a slight whiff of corn on the nose. Color very pale yellow. The taste is smooth though not particularly memorable. Finish not as dry as it should be.

On tap at The Gamble Mill. Light mild beany hop aroma over light sweet pale malt. Clean nose. Light golden clear with thin white head. Medium-light body with heavy carbonation. Starts mild with sweet pilsner malt, beany hops, and mild bitterness. Smooth and clean, in the style of a light lager. Mild hint of sulfur at the end, and just a bit of corn, too.

Sample at brewpub. Pours clear golden yellow with little head. Buttered corn nose with grain. Grain and corn, mild hop presence. Nice golden ale to bridge the BMC gap.

On tap at the brewpub. This seemed a little messy and all over the map for a session beer. It had too much going on to be a nice, tight, clean Golden Ale. There were strong, noticeable alcohols, bubblegum-yeasts, seltzer thinness, and heavy cooked corn. This needs some smoothing and something unique to make it a truly sessionable beer.

UPDATED: JAN 3, 2011 Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a pale yellow color with a large fruity white head taht lingered and produced good lacing. The aroma was dryish, tangy and fairly mild. The flavor was tart, tangy and a bit citric with a light industrial undertone. The finish was short, tangy and industrial. Light to medium body. Uninspired.
