A bit of floralness on the nose. Pours a dark golden color with a thin head and leaves no lacing. Nice hop action on the tongue. Finishes clean.

On tap at The Gamble Mill. Nice citrusy pine hop aroma with mild caramel sweetness and a bit of soap. Deep golden amber clear with thin white head. Medium body and carbonation. Starts medium dry with light caramel and brown sugar sweetness. Rounded bitterness to start that gets stronger and more chalky at the finish. Nutty dry, mild astringent after. Decent pale ale.

Pours clear amber with little head. Light hop aroma but not much else. A very nice piney hop flavor and great body. Light bitter finish. Would be a good session PA.

On tap at the brewpub. Darker than average copper pour, with a strong hop scent and nice malts. Flavors are solid, robust and clean. This place knows its hopwork, in my opinion. Lemony, floral and bold citrus hop flavors over a working man’s malt sugars. Balanced, consistent and drinkable.

FROTHINGSLOSH (3977) - GREENSBURG, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 18, 2010
UPDATED: JAN 5, 2011 Sampled on draft at the brewery this beer poured a red-caramel-brown color with a large foamy beige head that lingered forever and produced great lacing. The aroma was moderately strong spicy and fruity hops though a bit vague. The flavor was dryish and a bit harsh with moderate fruity and floral hops and touches of grapefruit and pine. The finish was long, dry and peppery with a bit of grapefruit lingering. Moderately full bodied. Decent.
