On tap at The Gamble Mill. Great hoppy nose. Citrus, pine, orange, resin, and light ozone. Light sweetness. Medium golden clear with thin white lacing head. Medium body with medium carbonation. Starts sweet with caramel, pale malt, and honey. Big hop flavor from start to finish - getting stronger at the end. Dry after with big hop flavor.

On tap at brewpub. Clear gold with thin white head. Aroma is citrus and pine. Pine dominates the flavor but citrus also noticeable. Could use more malt to balance the bitterness.

UPDATED: AUG 6, 2011 Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a bright orange color with a small beige head that faded quickly but left some lacing. The aroma was sweetish grapefruit and lemon. The flavor was bitter, surprisingly dry and a bit tart with strong grapefruit and hints of pine and lemon. The finish was long and dry with lingering grapefruit. Medium body. Pleasant but a bit too dry for my taste.

On tap at the brewpub. I had an entire pint of this, as I was impressed by the hop work in the pale ale that I tried in the sampler and was rewarded for my choice. Big blossomy strong citrus aroma, super on the zesty side. Fresh delightful hop characters, edging towards the pale base, with a texture, body and build that reminded me very much of the two Plinys. Fresh grapefruit, meyer lemon, and pine. Big, zesty, fresh and delightfully well carbonated. Definitely a winner at the brewpub for me.
