3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours golden with gentle steady bubbles and a nice head. The nose has pale malt and a nice citrus zing. The taste has more citrus, then green beans, the pale malt kicks in and there?s more of the citrus and herb finish at the end. The palate is light to medium bodied with a medium but very tight texture and a ling clean finish. Overall, good example of a well made pilsener.

The beer from tap had a lovely fine head and a great velvet mouthfeel. Bit bready and on the sweet side. Good winter pilsner drinker

Geruch schon nach Diacetyl, der Geschmack dann "butter"weich. Leider kein Hopfen, aber ansonsten schön.

Bottle from National Brewery Centre, Burton. Golden amber beer with large head. Aroma of sweet malts, hops and floral notes. Taste is pale malts, some bittering hops and floral notes again. The taste is not as good as the aroma which is quite good. OK pilsner.

UPDATED: SEP 6, 2013 500ml bottle, pours golden clear with a large white head that dissipates fast. Aroma of bread and malt. Very smooth to drink, good carbonation, taste of smoked buttery bread. When I crave a Czech Pilsner this is one of my top choices.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Bought a bottle at Bert’s Bierhuis. Has a golden color and a large white head, highly carbonated. Aroma of grass and hops and further it’s difficult to say. Has a bitter taste with a little sweetness. Taste of malts and hops and further it’s bit watery. An average pilsner, but the Czech people can do a better job than this.
