Tap Prague. Gold with average, thick creamy head. Clean malty aroma with light hop character. Malty, light sweet. Watery finish. Smooth not to dry but to light and plain.

Bottle. Creamy white good mostly deminishing head. Yellow colour. Moderate hoppy aroma. Nive but thin flavor. A little watery.

NICe colour, not nasty flavour, sweet like East Europe Lagers or Pislener in a way. BUt it has an aroma that reminds me Cat’s poop, I do not know why.

Sample at a beer tasting event at "Pannrummet" in Gothenburg, Sweden.
LIght yellow color. Very low scent, malty. Low bitterness and not much taste. VEry easy to drink, still a "clean" pils, but boring. The low score is because of my recent lack of appreciating light lagers, this is well made and a good Czech beer, but just not right for me.

Clear golden color, fluffy white head. Sweet malty scent. Malty, dry, bitter though light, taste. Smooth mouthfeel, low to medium bitterness.

Clear golden color, to amber. Lasting big off-white head. Sweet, malty a bit metalic taste. Medium mouthfeel. Medium crisp bitterness. Sweet malty scent. Very drinkable session beer

Clear straw yellow color, white head. Sweet but thin malty taste, a bit acidic. Moussy mouthfeel, low bitterness. Acidic scent.
This was one of many beers served when not tasting right from the same place, won’t lower my earlier score since it must’ve been something wrong with the beer.

Medium creamy white head with a rash of larger bubbles. Clear yellow body with ongoing carbonation. Acidic, grainy aroma with a hint of straw. Acidic, grainy, straw-like taste with milky mouthfeel. Dry, grainy, milky taste lingers. Not really all that successful. (Can from hotel minibar.)

Can, at home (2003). Light yellow with a white head. Aroma and flavor moderate malty/sweet and hoppy/bitter. Light body, watery, lively carbonated. Highly drinkable.

The Lure:
Herbal, grassy hops are faint and lifeless. Wet cereal and ordinary citrus fruit can’t gather interest. The second experience developed big biscuity and toasted malts. Much closer to being compelling.

The Festivities:
Quenching hay and herbal hops don’t benefit much from the light malt build. Toasted malts and wooden, grassy hops evolve into a quiet aftertaste. The second tasting was much drier and the hops featured some citrusy character.

Transcendence:
Those cookies are gentle-tasting, but they sure make you feel good.

Poured out coppery and slightly cloudy with a white head. Great session beer. Wish I took better notes for this one other than score.

On tap, Prague. Clear golden with generally a huge frothy white head. Little aroma and very watery flavor, but not offensive. Pretty well-balanced. If you’re in the Czech Republic, a decent cheap beer, blowing US brands out of the water, but not worth import price tags in other countries.

Some hoppyness in the nose. Golden colored body, small white head. Very well balanced pils.
