Aroma has malt and hints of hay. Flavour is somewhat sticky with malt, some mint and distant fruity esthers. Quite typical märzen by the aroma – and the flavour too.

It’s dark golden with a white head. The aroma has notes of malt, fruit and fresh hay. The flavor is medium sweet with notes of malt, fruit, biscuit, hay (in a nice way) and the finish is dryish - very nice Märzen ot really my favorite style - but this might be the best I have had...

50 cl bottle @ Timo A. BBE 01/2013.
Pours clear copper color with a medium-sized head. Aroma of stuffy grain, some yeast, malts, toffee and mild grass. Flavor of hay, some nutty notes, malts, fruits and some dried fruits. Stuffy palate.

bottle from the brewery. Clear golden colour, mid-sized white head. Malty and sweet, slightly grainy, slightly fruity. Shy hops in the finish.

In the glass it looks really tired from dark yellow-märzig, the Antrunk is less sweet than expected. Drinkable beer with a fruity character and aroma of apples. Drinkable Märzen, nothing more.

Bottle: Deep golden coloured, mid-sized and firm creamy head; sweet-malty, fruity-honeyish with resinous hops in the bachground; medium bodied, solid bitter-sweet flavour; shorter bitter-sweet finish with a tinge of honey. A decent, chewy brew, nevertheless not too aromatic........

(bottle) Clear, deep golden colour with a fluffy foamy white head. Medium-sweet malty, bready, slightly toasted aroma with hay and delicate citrousy and spicy hoppy notes. Bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied, pleasantly carbonated, well-matured mouthfeel. Solid malty taste with balanced, spicy and herbal hoppy notes from the beginning; almost dry, malty and hop bitter, quite lasting finish. Not very complex, but pretty likeable.
