2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Pours a nearly clear copper with a thin, creamy, off white head. Aroma has lots of toast, toffee and cereal, light floral honey notes and some malt sweetness. Flavor is toffee, caramel, roasted nuts, bready yeast, floral honey and light spicy hops. Light to medium body with a slick, slightly oily feel and fairly high strength and too sharp carbonation. Pretty decent overall, a little less carbonation and a little more hops would do it well though.

Not getting much besides a little malt in the aroma. Looks good. The flavor is light but pretty tasty. The beer interestingly alternates between being a little crispy and a little creamy. Pretty good.

Got this beer in the bottle at Total Wine in Henderson, NV. Roasted nut and caramel notes on the aroma and taste. Slightly metallic aftertaste.

Aroma is toffee/caramel and medium sweetness. The flavor is similar to the aroma, not much Oktoberfest features to this, decent enough though.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Reddish orange,solid short head,creamy froth.Light lacing,mild carbonation.Pretty clear.
Aroma has some mineral with slightly dark carmel notes.Brown sugar or toffee like. Some fresh maltiness.
Pretty malty with same notes as aroma, has a biger carmlized almost roasty quality to it, with a little raison. Its creamy and smooth with good body, some light sweet orange notes, some citrus mild pepper finish. Some slight metallic tin, maybe mineral in finish. Would have again but not too enthused.
Much better than the Shiner Oktoberfest I just had though.

Bottled. Poured a very nice shade of light amber with a dense smoked beige head. The aroma picked up sweet, toasted nutty and caramel malts with mild clove and leafy accents.. sweet and simple. The flavor found similar stuff.. sweet caramel, nutty notes, and a hint of molasses at the core.. tangier on the edges, showing light leafy bitterness and malty sourness.. finished with toasty residual sugars and some aforementioned sourness. Lighter-medium bodied, but slow-ish moving through the palate.. a little sweet, but good balance overall.. easy-drinkin’.
