UPDATED: NOV 27, 2008 (Bottle) Pours quite beautiful deep red with an off white head. Light grainy with a sweetish caramel aroma up front. Undertones of dark bread, bitter nut shells, light coffee, cheap milk chocolate, raisins, clove, sweet summer grass, some hints of lemons and tiny notes of smoke. Light and friendly roasted grain in the flavour with tones of milk chocolate, light caramel, raisin and with a fruity sweetness finish. Some grass, light earth and a tiny citric tartness are also present. Balanced carbonation and a very soft salty mineral touch make the mouthfeel ok. Light to medium bodied. An ok micro macro. Second try: (Bottle) Pours brown to red with a small off-white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel, toffee, syrup, honey and caramelized nuts. Maybe just a whisper of hops. The flavour is near medium malty sweet, light fruity and tiny citric with tones of caramel, bread, chap chocolate and syrup. Light bitter. The mouthfeel is clean and watery, almost lifeless. Light bodied.

Bottle (50 cl) from Systembolaget. Clear dark copper with a creamy beige head. Caramelly aroma with notes of chocolate and dark berries. Light to medium bodied, spritzy carbonation. Nicely balanced with a dry finish. Uncomplicated but quite nice.

Black/brown with a creamy head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, caramel and toffee. The flavour is slightly sweet with roasted notes, caramel, toffee and a light, refreshing bitterness. Uncomplicated and not bad, just plain ordinary. 1873
