Ungstrup (11136), Frederiksberg, Denmark May 5, 2003 A deep red beer with a fine but fast disappearing head. The aroma is sweet and fruity. The flavor is very sweet, slightly smoked and somewhat thin for a dark lager. It ends on an OK bitterness. Nothing special. omhper (10456), Stockholm, Sweden Sep 21, 2002 Dark nut brown, rich head. Offputting aroma of butyric acid. Roasty with salty sharp mouthfeel. Reasonably malty, average bitterness. Papsoe (9999), Frederiksberg, Denmark Apr 27, 2005 Updated: Jun 29, 2005(Bottle 33 cl) Very dark brown, almost mahogany with an underlying, warm reddish tone. Filtered, not much head. Very malty and lightly burned notes. Pretty close to the brewery’s Christmas beer. 100304 rickgordon (3061), Göteborg, Sweden May 23, 2003 Dark brown. Burnt nose.
