Pours golden straw, thin white head. Aroma is yeasty, spicy esters, clove. Taste is fruity, yeasty, light bitter finish, orange peel and banana.

500ml bottle from bierzwerg. Hazy yellow colour with big head. Aroma is yeasty. Flavour is yeast, wheat, quite nice.

Das ist ein Weizen gebraut für den Sommer. Mild, süffig, kaum sauer. Im Mittelteil angenehm hefig, zum Nachgeschmack hin etwas süßer. Könnt im allgemeinen noch etwas geschmacksintensiver sein, trotzdem rundum gelungen. Test vom 11.5.2006, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 12,11,12,11,6,11 - 11,00

500 ml bottle picked up at Bier Hannes in Frankfurt and then dragged off to Kenya. Pours the normal hazy gold with a huge white head. Aroma is bananas, cloves, and sweet fruit. Taste is fruity bananas, hefe and some other flavors coming through. Palate is mellow and quite nice. A good solid German Hefe.

Interesting! Not traditional! Has a strange acrid funkiness upon full warming that I liked. Didn’t get cloying. As I stated, acrid, slightly sour/citric flavor component, more than standard. Definite lack of sweetness in this wheat beer. Bready, lip-smacking but not heavy-palated. Mostly diffuse grain and hay flavors. Pepper aroma, dusty. Clovey. No banana for me. I’d go back to this just for the shakeup. Great conditioning to the end.

The beer in the glass has a yellow-orange color, medium cloudy with a beautiful head. The beer smells yeasty, creamy, with a slight fruity note. It starts yeasty, creamy, very tasty. Moreover, joined by a clovy spicy note, overall the Weizen is very recent. The aftertaste is also good spicy, again with lots of clove flavors. The further course is extremely spicy and yeasty, creamy, but I miss something fruitiness.

Cloudy golden colour with small white head. Fruit, banana, grain and some sweet caramel in aroma. Flavour is quite the same. Some yeast and even notes of alcohol maybe. Quite simple. Full palate.

It’s unclear, warm golden with a creamy, white head. The aroma has notes of banana, yeast, wheat, and the sweet flavour has notes of banana, yeast, wheat – well it’s very straightforward.

Bottled (thanks Timo A!). Hazy deep golden colour, not much head. Aroma is wheat, fruits, caramel malts as well as some yeast. Flavour is wheat, fruits, caramel and some slight notes of yeast. Wellbalanced, refreshing and pleasant wheatbeer.
