Pale golden-orange pour. Tight white head. The aroma is quite fruity. Citrus rind, orange and grapefruit with a little bit of sweetness. A touch of crisp pale malt character as well. Bright and lively with a nice long lingering bitterness. Fresh and pretty tasty. Good stuff in here. Lingering hoppiness on the back - they call this a strong ale, but it’s really a well-made IPA.

On tap. Orange/amber pour, medium carbonation. Thick bubbly cream head. Aroma is woody, with caramel and heavy citrus, apricot and floral notes. Little hint of ripe cheese. Smooth medium mouthfeel. Slightly sweet up front with a strong bitter finish. Flavours don’t exactly blend perfectly, but still quite nice and complex. ABV not noticeable.

I tried this beer on March 30, 2012 at "C’est What" in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The beer poured a hazy orange-gold colour with a thin creamy white head. The aroma was weak hints of caramel, grass, and floral hops. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. The flavour is slightly fruity with notes of light fruit and grains. Not very IPA like.

Aroma aromatic with lighter notes of high alpha hops with following softer floral backing. Nice.
Appearance slight haze on amber with creamy lighter top.
Flavor and Palate : Medium bodied . Sharp, clean hop profile, but musky earthy with hint of old wood. On sides citric leaf to it. Proper approach, solid classic American ale.

[4096-20111111] Tap. Sweet caramel apple malt toast aroma. Hazy, orange amber body with a quick foamy off-white head. Bitter apple barrel flavour has a lot of grainy malt. Medium body. Good, bitter, mldl buttery. (7/3/6/3/14) 3.3

2011-11-11. Lightly hazy small off white head. 3+ Interesting hop character, bit of fruity orange citrus, light resin, green leafy hop touches, leaves the mouth sticky, something I can’t put my finger on. 7+ Aroma has similarly interesting hop character, bit odd, pine sol? Caramel notes. 6+ Average bodied palate. Bit odd, but kind of nice. Okay. On tap at Volo, Toronto

Draught at Burger Bar. Pours a murky orange-amber with a small quick-diminishing white head -- almost looks cask-like. Pleasant aroma of hops, fruit and lightly toasted caramel malt. Flavour is surprisingly bitter, in a good way. There’s caramel malt, a good amount of hops, a hint of apple juice and like I said, a big bitter finish-- not too shabby at all. Medium bodied. The description mentions a "West Coast style IPA" which to me, it isn’t at all, but nonetheless this is a really good beer. I look forward to trying it again.
