Bottle - 341ml. Blond body with good carbonation and an average, lasting, white foamy head. Thin malty aroma with hoppy and bready hints. Its well balanced but rather thin malty/hoppy taste carries herbal and grainy notes. Ends with a short bitter/grainy finish. Ordinary.

341ml bottle from a gift. @home 11-07-2014.
In short: a decent lager.
Pours dark gold, quite clear, with some white head. Fast vanishing head, short retention, poor lacing. Malty, grassy aromas. Light body, average to high carbonation, crispy texture. Taste ismoderate bitter, grassy. Enjoyable.

probstblueribbon (3353) - Nepean, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 26, 2014
341 mL bottle in a 6-pack from LCBO served cold in a tulip glass. Clear bright golden with a small white head. Biscuit maltiness, peppery noble hop character, some other grain and cereal notes, clean. Medium-ish body with fairly full carbonation. Quite similar to the nose with nice biscuit malt and noble hop character, clean fermentation; dry with nice bitterness and a biscuit/peppery hop finish. A quality pale lager.

Alright you know you’re a little obsessed with beer when you email a brewer to figure out what the proper name for a restaurant-branded beer so you can rate it. But then again if you’re reading this, you’re probably that guy too. Cheers, ya drunk! Pint at Pizzeria Libretto branded as Organico. Ooooh what a fancy Italian name. Pours a clear golden with a fluffy finger-ish of white head that leaves lacing. Smells mildly of doughy yeasts, and bready malts. Taste is mild malts, soft fruits, and unimposing hops. Meh.

6-pack from the LCBO. Pours a clean light golden colour with minuscule particles floating around, as beer is partially filtered. Big frothy white head, good retention and some nice creamy lace. Fresh malt aromas with a hint of hops. The taste is quite grainy with cereal notes and the grass showing a little more. The bitterness is more present than a macro lager, but very well-blended with the malt. A very good micro lager that is refreshing for those who like the Steam Whistle. Nice and grainy.

355 mL bottle. Nothing whong with it, in terms of style or construction. And a great name, although the label is boring. But if you’re going to produce a beer that competes with macro swill, you are going to have to price it like macro swill. $14 for six isn’t going to win over the Coors Crap drinkers.

Scent of malt and bread. Clear straw colour. Flavour of biscuit and honey. Mild sweetness with slight bitter finish. Light body. Fine for a session beer.
