COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Naughty Otter Lager is fun, refreshing, crisp -- our premium lager for any time of the year. Made with organic barley from the US Midwest and organic German hops, Naughty Otter is about relaxing, forgetting the stress of work, recovering from cutting the grass or just unwinding. This beer is partially filtered so it has a craft beer look and feel, it has an IBU of 24 which means it is hoppier than most domestic beers. 178 Calories per 12 oz serving.

Beautifully balanced beer. Light cereal malting, modest hop flavour with citrusy notes. Perfect if you want modest hopping but more flavour. Very drinkable. Branding is strong.

Superior Craft Lager, would definitely purchase again! As a consumer, it is important to know the type of beer you are buying, Gananoque hits the nail on the head with a crisp easy drinking lager. Naughty Otter is not hop heavy or bold, it is a great craft beer that you can drink (a lot of) all the time. Golden colour with citrus notes, very mild hop finish (which is my preference, too many crafts are loaded with far too much hops), clever marketing and actually have quite a nice facility if you ever find yourself in Gananoque or passing through

Picked it up because the can looks pretty cool, after talking with the LCBO rep, they told me the beer is meant for craft drinkers but not total "hop heads" - safe to say i thought the beer delivered on that goal A - medium gold with a reasonable head S - Citrus notes T - Moderate hop taste/finish with citrus/grassy notes. Refreshing and crisp. Very easy drinking, I found. Overall - easy to drink with a more complex flavor profile than your run of the mill beers, I will pick this up again at the LCBO or Beer Store

Really lied this beer. Pours amber colour with hefty white head that sticks around and tastes great. Carbonation is average but it suits the beer. It has almost oily heavy texture that is very pleasant. Clear aroma of yeast and malt, with hoppy touches. Flavor of malt and yeast, with mild, bitter notes of hops. Really pleasant and not overwhelming after taste.

I am not sure what to make of all the negative comments. Nothing hits you with a hammer flavour-wise, but still surprisingly complex and beautifully balanced.

Where and how: LCBO, can 473
Aroma pleasant malty notes, good depth, solid meadow like Noble hop character. Dry green at walls. Solid. 7+
Appearance :
Top: poured medium sized with sparse lace.
Base: hazy on golden pale plain
Palate : medium full bodied, soft, tad chalky, mild carbonation, worty, clean.
Taste: blend of Keller with Bohemian. Just right balance of hops and malts.
Other notes well I be damned, lil hidden gem for lager lovers.

Draught @ the brewery. Pours clear amber with airy white head. Clear aroma of yeast and malt, with hoppy touches. Sweetish flavour of malt and yeast, with mild, bitter notes of hops. Estery aftertaste. Rich body. Definitely one of the best Pale Lagers I have ever had.

UPDATED: JUN 14, 2016 473ml can. Pours a clear golden yellow with a thin, white head. Aroma has notes of biscuit, fruity lager esters, caramel, traditional hops, and a touch of creamyness. Taste is balanced with notes of darker caramel, biscuit, bread, traditional earthy/spicy hops, slight citrus, and a drawn out, caramel biscuit ending. Medium body and carbonation. Clean in the mouth with a dry finish. Overall more flavour than I was expecting. Biscuit, creamy caramel, bread, and traditional hops.

can. Poured clear straw coloured with a frothy white head. Malty straw aroma. Light-medium body, average carbonation, creamy mouthfeel. Rich bready malty flavour, honey sweetness, earthy with a hay-ish note, some faint hop presence.

341 mL bottle in a 6-pack from LCBO served cold in a tulip glass. Clear bright golden with a small white head. Biscuit maltiness, peppery noble hop character, some other grain and cereal notes, clean. Medium-ish body with fairly full carbonation. Quite similar to the nose with nice biscuit malt and noble hop character, clean fermentation; dry with nice bitterness and a biscuit/peppery hop finish. A quality pale lager.
