On tap at Het Waterhuis aan de Bierkant in Gent, Belgium. It poured a hazy golden liquid with a white head. smell and taste of hops, citrus, freshly cut grass. Lightly malty with a medium intense bitterness. Very nice, but is it good because I was jonesing for hops or because it was actually a good beer?

I drank this sitting on a canal in a great beer bar in Gent. Cloudy yellow with average thing off white head. HEavy floral notes, lavender, rose. Sweet fruit smell as well, subtle peach and/or sweet apricot. WEll balanced. Dryer but not too dry. Floral taste with light citrus crisp. Flavor follows suit. Ends dryer. Floral really bright in the front and ends citrusy. This and Klokke Roeland are good enough reason to come to Ghent alone. Not to mention its the prettiest town in Belgium with an outrageous night life.!

Cloudy orange beer, becomes more clear on warming up.White creamy head, pretty stable. Aroma: pineapple, fruityhops, bit sweet, some malts. MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: very fruity, pineapple and passion fruits, some candi sugar, gentle hop flavour. Aftertaste: citrus, fruity, bitter and dry ending. Alcohol is warming the back of the throat. Surprisingly for only a 7.5%.

Draught at Waterhuis aan de Bierkant. Pours hazy with a thick white head. Aroma is fruity and floral. Some peach in the nose. Taste is only very mildly bitter and leans to the sweeter spectrum. Alcohol is very well hidden. Perfect for a summer day on the terrace of het Waterhuis, although I expected some more hoppy notes.

Hazy blond colour. Intense fruity, fresh hop aroma. Clean fresh taste with a nice hop flavour leading to a crisp, dry, lightly bitter finish

At bierhuis. Cloudy orange coloured beer, good sized head that sticks good to the glass. Smell is citrus, hops, malts. Citrussy, malty, light dry biterness. Expected more bitter, and a bit less earthy and citrus, but good refreshing beer. But wondering if the beer self is fresh enough...

The first beer I ordered on my trip to Belgium as we stopped at Het Waterhuis. Delicious stuff. A bit hoppy (pine) fruity and refreshing. Very drinkable. Serving: Tap

Pours a cloudy golden color. Pleasant aroma of hops, spices and yeast. Good flavor of floral, citrusy hops with spices and yeast. The body is light while the carbonation is medium. This is very good.

Drafy @ Het Waterhuis, Gent. Holy good beer, leaning on the IPA side, pours clodu golden, thick white head. aroma, lots of hop goodness, citrus and grapefruit and a light malty nose. The dry hopping adds a nice consistent pine, citrus profile to the beer that is also a strongly and savory on the palate. falvors, have a mild bitter palate, not overly done but nicely balanced with teh dry-hopping, giving a subtle citrus bitter finish along with grapefruit. Light notes of malts come enhance the experience, just a nicely done and tasty beer.

On-tap at Het Waterhuis, house beer - October 2008 Lightly hazy, bright gold with a fluffy nut dense white head. Some fine lacing down the glass. Smells of noble hops, some citrusy notes, sweet and spicy (clove, black pepper) Good hop profile in this blonde. Spicy hops, fruity, yeasty and estery malt profile. Yeast provides an earthy and fruity character. Ripe pear, hints of lemon, noble hops in the finish. Finished nice and dry. There was a ton of good beer available at Het Waterhuis so I didn’t go back for seconds but it was pretty damned good. One of the better "blond" beers I sampled in Belgium.
