I drank this sitting on a canal in a great beer bar in Gent. Cloudy yellow with average thing off white head. HEavy floral notes, lavender, rose. Sweet fruit smell as well, subtle peach and/or sweet apricot. WEll balanced. Dryer but not too dry. Floral taste with light citrus crisp. Flavor follows suit. Ends dryer. Floral really bright in the front and ends citrusy. This and Klokke Roeland are good enough reason to come to Ghent alone. Not to mention its the prettiest town in Belgium with an outrageous night life.!

25cl on tap at Waterhuis aan de Bierkant, Gent. Hazy golden to orange with a nice, white head. Fruity and slightly herbal aroma with notes of Belgian yeast, citrus and hints of spices. Moderate to medium sweet with pleasant hoppy and fruity flavours and a balanced bitterness. East to drink, tasty and quite refreshing.

Poured a slightly hazy light golden with an off white head. Aroma of sweet citrus, a little spicey. Medium body, flavour is crisply sweet, nice lemon and pine flavour, dry, sweet end. Nice little session beer, especially for the strength.

On tap at Waterhuis aan de Bierkant. Hazy gold pour with white head. Aroma is nice and hoppy, really fresh, peppery and grassy hop, really citrusy for a Belgian beer. Taste is hoppy, bitter, nice bready malt, light yeasty finish, a tad metallic. Palate is med bodied with good carbonation. Not bad at all.

Repeated draughts@Waterhuis a/d Bierkant, Ghent 2013-08/2014. Looks like a German Brauhaus Keller, smells like a more modern, faintly IPA-informed Belgian ale, remains very democratic in taste and undecisive in aftertaste with chunky pale malts fighting against a lazy hop profile, Willamette struggling in the hazy vortex to break free of heavy Belgian bonds. All the while refreshing, this unequal Old World vs New World struggle - could use a fresher update as the long-running house beer, though.

Dry-hopped hobby brew commercialized for the Waterhuis aan de Bierkant in Ghent. Irregular, quite stable head, golden blonde to ochre colour, hazy. Fruity aroma with some diacetyl (buttermilk), some DMS (cooked cabbage) and clear green, herbal hops. Fruity and sweetish onset, evolving into an oily and resinous, green, long, aromatic hop bitterness. Interesting interpretation of the new hop wave among Belgian beers.
