3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
I drank this sitting on a canal in a great beer bar in Gent. Cloudy yellow with average thing off white head. HEavy floral notes, lavender, rose. Sweet fruit smell as well, subtle peach and/or sweet apricot. WEll balanced. Dryer but not too dry. Floral taste with light citrus crisp. Flavor follows suit. Ends dryer. Floral really bright in the front and ends citrusy. This and Klokke Roeland are good enough reason to come to Ghent alone. Not to mention its the prettiest town in Belgium with an outrageous night life.!

Hazy yellow, nice creamy white head. Nose is lots of sweet exotic fruits. Taste is lots of fruits, some bitterness, some sweetness. Just don’t get the dryhopping. Anyhow, a nice easy drinking refreshment.

One of the 3 house beers at The Waterhuis in Ghent. This was the most interesting of them for me. Pours a beautiful hazy Gold with a White head. I’m not really accustomed to dry hopped Belgians, this one took me by surprise. Amazing aroma. Really fresh and hoppy. Leafy herbal notes. It has plenty of typical fruity Belgian esters but with that assertive hoppiness. It went down so smooth you guys. Really hit the spot.
