bottle from Bierzwerg. Clear brown colour, large beige head. Malty nose. Malty with hints of caramel and a touch of herbs. Slightly hopps. A well-balanced Dunkel.

Bottle 50cl. Dark brown clear filtered brew. Roasted Malts in the nose, malty taste, raisins, chocolate. Refreshing although. Not a masterpiece but solid brew.

Draught at the Neumarkt brewpub.
No head. Dark amber color.
Small light roasted malt aroma.
The taste is malty from Munchener Dunkel malts and has a small bitterness. Clean taste.

Malzig-röstiger Antrunk ohne wirklichen Tiefgang. Sehr wenig hopfig werdend, gleichzeitig prescht ein unpassender Blechton un den Vordergrund, der das Bier weitestgehend zerstört. Danach versucht sich das Bier an einem röstig-würzigen Abgang, scheitert aber. 7/7/8/8/?/8

Bottle, 5.0%. Vinous, roasted aroma. Clear dark brown colour. Small tan head. Rough, grainy, roasted flavour. A bit rough, but OK.

50 cL bottle. Pours golden brown with an orange glare and a lacing white head. Hops and malt spiced aroma. Flavour is dry malty, mild caramel malt and light roasted. Light acidic finish from the hops and malt.

Bottle (purchased at the brewery): Reddish-amber coloured, quickly vanishing off-white head, delicate roast-malty nose; light bodied, moderate sweet-bitter flavour; delicate, a bit watery, sweet-bitter finish.Not bad, but not very impressive either........

(bottle) Clear, mahogany colour with a mid-sized, slowly lacing tanned foamy head. Slightly sweet toasty malt aroma with caramel and rural barnyard notes with a distinctive herbal hoppy touch. Bitter-sweet flavour, slim body impression with a well-carbonated mouthfeel. Toast-malty taste with light notes of caramel and a present herbal hops character; dry and bitter finish with a good balance of herbal hops and toasted malt, unfortunately also a bit slim. Unspectacular but well-rounded Dunkel.
