3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Lilja (998) - Malmö, SWEDEN - MAY 7, 2013
Smak och doft av fishermans friend, söt, oljig konsistens med en kärv beska. Vet inte vad jag ska tro om denna.
1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20 KennethArd (58) - Odense, DENMARK - APR 3, 2013
Almost hidden aroma and absolutely no head. It’s hazy red. The taste is bitter and the palate is soft, bitter and sticky. The absolutely worst beer i’ve ever tasted from de Molen.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20 ClubGonzo (2764) - Bergen, NORWAY - JUL 14, 2012
Bottle @ Tre Små Rum, Gothenburg. A collaboration between Närke, De Molen and...who’s those other guys? Definitely worth checking out. :-) Pours a hazy amber body with a tiny white head. Nose is honey, oat-like cereals, grains and hints of syrup and rye. Taste is grainy licorice, burnt sugar, hints of syrup and alcohol. Smooth and slightly crisp in the mouth, otherwise this beer resembles a barley wine far more than a doppelbock in my opinion. Still a rock solid brew; clearly with lots of originality and craft behind it.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 _angst_ (1796) - Göteborg, SWEDEN - JUL 6, 2012
Bottle @ 3 Små Rum. Pours hazy amber with a rather small and creamy goldenish white head that slowly dissipates while leaving some lacing on the glass. Smell is sweet and malty with sweet cookie dough, plums in cognac, dusty oxidation, raisins, hay, caramel, alcohol, white pepper, bay leaves, wood and toffee. Taste is intense, sweet and bitter with sweet dark bread, wood, prunes, caramel, raisins, alcohol, fresh grass, dusty dry soil, black and rose pepper, straw, resin and hints of cardboard. Mouthfeel is sticky sweet, oily bitter, tiny boozy and medium to full bodied. Finish is slightly sweet and bitter with caramel, cookie dough, golden syrup, resinous wood, straw and warming alcohol.
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Martinus (1878) - Nijmegen, NETHERLANDS - APR 12, 2012
Rating of an aged bottle. BB 13-02-11
Reddish brown colour, quite firm, off-white head. Fruity hops, passion fruit, citrus, malts, light caramel, light sour touch. Slightly sweet malty flavour, caramel, bitter hops. Quite alcoholic touch. Sweet malty finish, light madeira.
Nice example of European cooperation. I really liked this beer, even thought it is somewhat aged it still manages to retain some of its hop character.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 BeerSkull (902) - SWEDEN - APR 11, 2012
Draught at Stockholm Beer Festival:
The smell and the taste is slightly sour and sweet with elements of floral hops, malt, fruit and butterscotch. The aftertaste is quite long with a dry bitterness. The alcohol is noticeable in the flavor but it’s not too intrusive. The best "Doppelbock" I’ve tasted so far!
