Bottle from the brewpub. Amber, slightly hazy, nice head disappears but not too fast. Nice color. Aroma has wood and hops on top of that. Leaves a nice, mellow garden fresh aroma. Is a very malty beer, too sweet for me, and a bit sticky in the finish. The Zoigl is better but this is nice enough.

Draft @ GBBF 2008. Pours a cloudy amber color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity malty aroma with some floral hoppy hints. Sweetish malty slightly grainy grassy hoppy flavor with some hints of citrus. Has a slightly sweetish malty citric grassy hoppy finish.

Bottle in quinns. Alround rating: Biscuity thinnish pale malts, small fruity wheatyness of the yeast, grassy dry and small citrusy hop notes.

MiP (13047) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - SEP 9, 2008
Draught at GBBF08. High carbonation. Cloudy amber colour. Big stable creamy off-white head. Citric flavour. Strange bitterness. I wonder if this is intended.

Draught, unfiltered beer, shared with Geir. Unclear amber. Malty smell with fruit notes. Smooth bittersweet flavour with a floral hoppy ending. Sunny impression. Refreshing and well bodied (GBBF, Bieres Sans Frontieres section, 06.08.2008).

A Mes rate: draught at GBBF.
Clean dark gold with a thin but stable white head. Really pleasant summer fruits on the nose with some solid grassy hoppage. Similar flavour with a slight, but totally unexpected hint of germoline. Clean bitter finish. Tasty and so much better on draught.

From the barrel - GBBF2008. A golden lager with a wisp of off-white head. The aroma is peachy and grassy, with maybe a little banana. Grassy hops in the mouth with some buttery malts, and again, some banana. Lacks body.

UPDATED: MAY 25, 2013 Bottle at London Drinker BF 08. Slight haze, gold, with lasting white head. Decent aroma. Very nice hop sting on finish. Decent lager, some breadyness. Bit over carb’d. Decent, but not exciting. 2.6/5 Re-rate at Drei Kronen. Clear gold, toffeeish lasting cream head. Very good depth very drinkable. Some hop on end. Decent.

Bügelverschlußflasche (purchased at the brewery): Unclear, orangey coloured, lively carbonation, big, extremely persistent off-white creamy head; bisquits, sweet malt and herbal aromatic hops in the aroma; soft, but solid bitter-sweet flavour, medium bodied; bisquity-malty finish with a lingering soft hoppy "tail". Great franconian stuff.......
