Gänstaller Bräu Kellerbier Mandarina is the same as Gänstaller Bräu Kellerbier, confirmed by brewer Andreas Gänstaller. Bavaria Mandarina hops have been used in his Kellerbier for years, replacing Spalter Select for late hopping. The name change was to feature the hop name at pubs.

Hazy copper color. The aroma is a bit malty, with vague cereals. Sweetish malt flavor; low bitterness between simple and pleasant.

Deep yellow, big white head. German hop aroma, pale malts, yet lightly sweet. Flavor was somehow sweet and fruity, almost like raspberry. Easy to drink.

Bottle@Home. Don’t care for German hop aroma much. But this beer is technically so perfect. Very well balanced, nice flavours, refreshing, easy going. German, of course, but nice!

Gravity cask at Churchkey. Hazy yellow, small white head. Fairly plain malt aroma and flavor, not too much else. Very light body. Ordinary.

It smells like water with very faint malts. Pale amber color. Tastes predominately like an industrial lager, but faintly of pumpkin spice.

From tap@In de Wildeman, Amsterdam. Firm offwhite head. Hazy, orangey-golden body. A scent of fresh, sourish malts on the nose. Taste is crisp malty and slight yeasty. Dry with a certain tartness. Well-bodied and slick in the mouth. Easy drinking. Very quenching, very well crafted.
