Sampled @ Borefts 2015. Clear yellow golden color, average sized white head. Smell and taste some malts, lots of herbs or spices, guess myrrh. Don’t like it, not my thing at all.

Tap (Gallows Bird, Espoo, Oktoberfest 2015)
Pleasant spicy herbal aroma. Gold, brief head. Pleasant sweetish malts, spicy hopping. Kinda OK, but I’m no lagerboy, and can’t get excited by this.

Thx! for sharing. Sampled draft @ Borefts 2015. Day 1. Gold, solid white head. Nose is hard to describe & same goes for the taste, I love the idea & it is very interesting but I have no idea how the special ingredients even taste like. Smell is oily herbal, resin, some smoky sweet resinous spirit, spices,… Sweetish, faint odd floral note. Taste is sweet resin, East-Orthodox church incense, sweet oily, light candy, spices, touch floral. Creamy. Odd, interesting, fun.
