Draught. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. DArk yellow colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Heavy bitter nice flavor. Long heavy bitter finish. Creamy palate. Nice.

Hazy deep orange colour, white small head. Fruity aroma, surprisingly. Flavour is malty with caramel and some fruit. I like the aroma better than the favour but a good dobbel bock brew.

Draft @ Ølbaren, Copenhagen. Pours a slightly hazy pale amber color with a small off-white head. Has a sweetish malty grainy molasses and caramel aroma. Sweetish malty grainy caramel flavor with hints of dark fruit. Has a sweetish malty caramel finish.

glorious copper. thick and sweet candy sugar up front, superbly smooth and chewy with intense caramel / toffee sugared malt. it’s definitely sweet, but it’s not overbearing and is balanced well by the carbonation and mild hop bitterness. lingering sweet toffee brittle and caramel malt / cane sugar later. toasty and yeasty in small areas of the nose. crackers and mulled grains show up here and there, but the candy apple and sweet wood are more dominant. exceptionally smooth and soft throughout. wonderful.

@ ACBF 2011. The aroma has grass and caramel malts mainly. Clear, copper coloured beer with an off-white head. The taste is sweet and becomes more bitter towards the finish. There is caramel malts, some dark fruit, grassy hops. Alcohol is quite well hidden. Nice one!

Leicht zitrusartiger, hefiger Geruch.. Startet süßmalzig. Mitte Noten von Leder, Tabak, Zitrus und Malz; enorm vielschichtig. Malzröstiger und bitterstrenger Abgang. Sehr guter Doppelbock.

Sampled @ Alvinne CBF 2011. Clear golden color, white head. Don’t smell much, very faint smell, just light sweetness. Taste malts, fruits and bitter. Nice carbonation and medium body.

RBESG 2010, draught at Ma Che Siete Venuti A Fà, Rome
Hazy amber color; generous head. Full bodied, malty beer, the aroma is simple, the flavor is quite sweet, also because the bitterness is quite low, with cereals; there is a trace of sweet liquorice. The alcohol can be perceived. Powerful, but a bit boozy.
