Enough persistent and compact foam. Limpid yellow color, medium fizz. Simple scent, straw, malt and dried cereals. Decided alcoholic impact, modest and balanced bitter, light hoppy final. Medium/short end.

(Bottle 50 cl) Beautiful golden pilsener with a huge and impressive head. Rather soft with a distinct malty feel and quite some sweetness with a discreet and balancing bitterness. Definitely a "Spitzenklasse" pilsener. 190702

Jägerstüble Todtmoos. Tap. Pale blonde. Just a bit flowery aroma. The flavor is a bit odd. Hops, malt and soap fight for first place. The soap, togerther with a touch of melon have a quick start, immediately followed by the malt, but the hops have the better finish, and win the battle. A happy end to this just above mediocre pils.

On tap. Some bite but round for a pilsner, with sweet wheatiness; not amazing, but different enough to warrant a high score.

Anice refreshing pils.Pours a golden head with a hugh foamy head.Tasted very grainy, perhaps wheat.Not too bad.the finish was clean and not bitter

UPDATED: JUN 14, 2003 Very nice Pils. It has something to it that I have not tasted in any other pilsner, a wheaty taste. Beautifully balanced, I love it.

re-rate [bottled] much much better then on tap, that weaty taste Eirikur talked about is quite noticable, quite hoppy, excellent Pils!!
