Bottled:
Spicy aroma, light hoppy. Small head, golden color. Light malty, light sweetness with some grain notes. Quite dry, bitter finish but without hop notes.

Clear yellow with an orange hint white head smells malty and hoppy. Rather dissapointing.

Sorry for the german rating, but this is a lousy rating from my "newbie" time (2007-2009), and it’s not worth of being translated. I just added it for the statistics, and to complete my backlog!
Ins Glas ergießt sich ein rötlich-braunes Bier mit halbhoher, mittelporiger Krone, welche recht schnell verfliegt. Der Duft geht stark in Richtung Süßmalz. Auch der Antrunk ist anfangs sehr süß, der Abgang ist jedoch sehr angenehm malzig und gut würzig. Meines Erachtens nach für ein Export sehr sehr süffig. Weiss durchaus zu gefallen! Sogar noch nen Tick besser als das ohnehin schon sehr gute Pils!

On tap as Ganter Export, 5.2°. Yellow beer, clear, with a modestly lacing white head. Almost neutral on the nose. Taste of light sweet malts and some light hoppiness with a "Helles feel" but nothing interesting. Rather sweeth, has very soft bitterness. Medium bodied, high carbonation, fizzy, short finish. Maybe tap fault, but this was really gassy. Average. There are better Helles...

Bottle. The sweet aroma of malt, light bitter smell of hops. The small white foamy head has a normal duration, the body is dark yellow. The taste is light sour, quite malty, some bread, later also some cardboard. The body is light, very dry with a normal carbonation.

Bottled 50cl. Bought in Lörrach. Good balance between between malts and hops. Very drinkable and true to the style. Faint reminiscence of gooseberries throughout. Pleasant.

Clear light medium yellow color with a average to large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, sweet malt, light hoppy, green grass. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20091129]

bottle, bought somewhere in the Kinzigtal. Clear golden colour, mid-sized white head. Malty with nice hoppy accent and a touch of fruit.

[bottle] Sourish aroma with very low maltiness and some lemony, spicy hops. Bright gold with a lasting, white flannel blanket and lace. Weak flavour that is thin and does not have enough to carry the bitterness. Some oniony aftertaste like Jever. Light body.
