A bit too much malt body to call this a Summer Ale - malt dominant - ends with reasonable amount of noble hops - wish it had been lighter bodied and hop dominant like Stone and Wood Pacific ale (still my gold standard for a summer golden ale). Pleasant enough though, just not thirst quenching for an Australian summer!

Hazy golden honey poor. Syrupy sweet aroma, which follows through into the taste syrupy and sweet start to finnish.

Savoury and fruity with golden color and mild foam. Delicious treat on a cold evening.

Bottle 0,5l. Pours an amber colour with a fading head. Aroma of honey, spicy hops, floral notes and lots of sweet clean malt. Flavour of honey sweet malts. Some spicy hops. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Oransje farge med lavt skum. Aroma av malt, fruktige toner og noe honning. Smaken er lett å like, her er det malt og honning. Tørr i munnen, med antydninger til humlebitterhet i avslutningen. Medium konsistens. Forfriskende.

Pours amber with a fading head. Nose shows faint honey, spicy hops, floral notes and lots of sweet clean malt. The honey is much more apparent as a flavours, almost cloying in conjunction with the copious sweet malts. Some spicy hops in there too and an assertive bitterness. Carbonation seems a bit aggressive.

Duft av honning, krydder og urter. Fin gyllen farge. Dekkende tynt hvitt skum. Heng langs kant. Frisk god men også veldig søt på smak. Greit øl kaldt, men....

Not very good, or rather, just not very interesting. Flat flavours, probably meant to be balanced and savoury, but I just found it all very wishy-washy. A shame, as the project seemed like such a promising and exiting one.

Pours a hazy golden with rocky off white head. Nose is fairly sweet. Toffee, orange, pineapple. Flavor is balanced. Citrus and bready flavors, some spice from the rye, slightly bitter finish. Light body and slightly fizzy mouthfeel. This is really really refreshing. Not terribly complex, but tasty and would be amazing on a summer’s day.

I won’t be going into detail but this is not very good at all. Not sure what the deal is but it drinks like a macro lager. Very sweet and sticky malts with barely a touch of hop presence. Toffee-centric stuff. Not my kind of beer at all
