COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hapi Daze. It’s a prototype for a possible future session ale, but in this early form at 5.4% ABV it’s a little strong to be considered a session beer.

33cl can (4,6%) from Meny, Ringnes park. Pours slightly hazy golden with a white head. Hoppy and fruity aroma with some tropical fruits, citrus and hints of malt, grass and herbs. Moderate to medium sweet with pleasant fruity flavours and a certain bitterness. Medium to moderate flavour intensity and slightly watery with carbonation on the soft side. Can. An almost clear one, golden orange in color and with a dense finger thick off white head. The aroma is very peachy and tropical, with a touch of pale malts. Some pine needles and grapefruit peel. The flavor has a bit too much bitterness, especially in the end. Pine cones, resins, grapefruit peel and orange. It’s medium bodied and pleasantly carbonated, quite dry on the palate. Bitter finish. Quite nice this one, but a tad too bitter in the end. 150220
