COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hapi Daze. It’s a prototype for a possible future session ale, but in this early form at 5.4% ABV it’s a little strong to be considered a session beer.

Can from Meny Alna enjoyed at home
Copper hazy, big white head. Smell of citrus, zests, grapefruit, light malts. Moderate sweet, a bit dull flavor after the promising aroma, not all that fruity, a bit flat and watery; moderate to medium bitter, zezty finish

BB 12/12/16. Poured a clear orangey amber colour with a two-finger off-white frothy head that diminished slowly and laced OK as film. Carbonation medium and fine. Aroma of nice quite strong pine and citrus (grapefruit, possibly lemon) hops plus with a hint of underlying sweetness. Taste dominated initially by tangy grapefruit and maybe lemon followed by hints of caramel sweetness; quite a decent bitterness. Light to medium body. Crisp, smooth, refreshing, with a long lingering citric bitterness and with a slightly dry finish. More like an IPA.

Can. Pours a hazy dark golden body with a small white head. Nose is grass, strong herbal tones, pine, hay, cat pee, tomato plant and hints of caramel and red fruits in the back. Taste is grass, hay, green herbs, mild tomato plant and hints of bready malts, red fruits and pine. Light, smooth body, medium carbonation. Quite nice and sessionable golden ale; very herbal-catty-down-under-hoppy (which I usually have some reservations about) but rather enjoyable all in all.

0,33l can. Not chilled. Drank at the top of Veten. Very hoppy without too much bitterness. Would not have had any problem calling this an IPA. Very nice.
