COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hapi Daze. Itís a prototype for a possible future session ale, but in this early form at 5.4% ABV itís a little strong to be considered a session beer.

Tasted on tap from Casselís in Christchurch. Slightly hazy golden yellow with a white head that sunk into a film on top of the body. Smells quite strongly of passionfruit and grapefruit with some light malts coming through. In the mouth it is prickly and gives flavours of tropical fruits followed closely by a blast of hoppy bitterness. More guava, grape and lychee make themselves known in a finish that is long and likeable.

Nicely balanced beer with good floral hop notes. Latest batch out of can which is 4.6% alc, so I am guessing ratings could be all over the place depending on the version tried.

Ooh I like that. Fruity and floral on the nose, with Asian tropical fruits, and a slightly coppery tone to the gold. Translucid and with a bubbly head that gets quite dense in the middle. Full of fruits on the flavour, with sweet grapes, passion fruit, feijoa, grapefruits and a grassy hoppiness. Goes down so easy, with a bit of a piney hug, bitterness on the tongue. Super nice.

The head is good, the body golden. It smells hoparomatic. The taste is malty, sweet, hoparomatic. Nice

UPDATED: APR 15, 2014 An excellent session ale. Has the taste of a much stronger brew that leaves you wanting (and mericifully, capable of having) many more. Another winner from the good folks at Garage Project.

Nice hop aroma. On tasting very grassy, a bit floral and a bit earthy. Very unbalanced, maybe a case of too much late or dry hopping. Also seems a bit astringent and a bit salty.

Draft. An amber beer with a lazing white head. The aroma has notes of hops, candy, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of hops, malt, caramel, and straw, leading to a bitter finish.

Growler poured at Hopscotch Beer Company. Pours perfect gold with a thin dissapating head. Smells heavy floral hops with some resin and citrus. Taste is super hoppy, loads of floral and citrus.

From memory, no notes. Strongly hoppy (Nelson Sauvin?) grapefruit aroma. Mellow pineapple and lychhy middle quickly gives way to a blast of rising hop bitterness
