4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20 DylansDad (157) - NEW ZEALAND - MAY 18, 2013
Aroma is no shrinking violet. It unsubtly screams citrus, passionfruit, (is it maybe over ripe apricots as well?) and resin. Gorgeous. It’s a very dynamic aroma: in the background the apricot rolls into a yeasty bread cooking in the oven smell which then rolls into some kind of roast nut... but there’s no way I’m gonna spend my time sniffin’ this; it’s screaming "Drink me, bi-yatch!" So I drink. Hugely bitter but immediately balanced with the sweet tastes of the aroma. Simple straightforward IPA, unpretentious, and very drinkable.

Very good, but very basic IPA. It’s strong, and it’s incredibly drinkable in comparison to other heavy hitting IPA’s of it’s stature. All in all, it hangs with the best of them, but doesn’t take any of the risks that G.P. generally offers.

Hazy tan, mango, papaya, guava, great fruit aroma...hell even maracuya in there. Very bitter, aggressive, dry, fruity-accented hop. Dang tasty.

Looks nice and peachy. Aroma is fruit and hops. Taste is oily with hops and resin in tow. Lingering bitterness. Overall, a good IPA.

UPDATED: FEB 2, 2013 An excellent beer for those who like hops. Definitely one of my favourites - only wish it was more frequently available.

Pint on tap. Poursa nice hazy orange amber with a nice head. Smell is apple and citrusy hops with some nut malts. Taste is super hoppy, bitter with a round creamy mouthfeel.

Pours cloudy, almost peachy in colour; something like a fruity cocktail. Bizarre, but raise the glass and lots of resin, grapefruit and bright bouncy citrus hop floats up. It’s big, round and surprisingly sweet in the mouth - again, there’s something very surprisingly sweet about this drink, the way it looks, it tastes and the way it feels. It’s like a bright bitter citrusy fruit cocktail. And that’s not a bad thing for a beer.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 omega (488) - NEW ZEALAND - SEP 26, 2012
Pours quite a murky golden colour and has a big sweet tropical hop hit on the nose. Pineapple and feijoa on the palate which has good length.

Rigger from Regional wines. Pours a hazy golden colour, with a big fluffy white head. Huge lemon zest pine hops on the nose. Medium, softly carbonated body. Grapefruit bitterness and lovely finish. A joy.

On Draft.
Aroma: Bright citrus, floral and pine, and ruby grapefruit.
Palate: Full-bodied.
Flavor: Bright tangy grapefruit with light touch of rind. Earthy malt.
Comments: Includes whole cone Sauvin hops. To rephrase the above: Earthy malt stares skyward, blinded by the flash of ruby grapefruit fireworks. Still, I like the intensity. Had this a 2nd time at another place where it had likely been on tap for a while--it showed medium bitter orange flavor that turned into sweet orange and seemed a bit more balanced.
