on tap-pours a thin white head and yellow color. Aroma is spice/some citrus, light malt. Taste is spice hops with some bite, secondary sweet light malt/grain.

Verre de dégustation, provenant d’un fût, au Vermont Brewers Festival 2010 (Burlington, VT). Arôme: Légère odeur d’houblons et de céréales. Apparence: La couleur est blonde pâle. Présence d’un mince col mousseux et d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Léger goût de céréales et d’houblons. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps est moyen avec une texture légèrement huileuse. Arrière goût légèrement houblonné. (Rating #3140)

Part of sampler at brewpub. Don’t remember much about this one other than I didn’t care for it. Think I slid this one across the table to the missus after a couple of sips.

My Bottom Line:
This Czech-style Pilsener serves a soothing Saaz bite across crisp straw-like honeyed malts for a bubbly and quaffable brew.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A veil of foam covers the hazy golden.
-The malts provide a tad more sweetness than usual, but that’s fine for the Czech style.
-The finishing bitterness was well levelled.
-This is not an example which will outshine other Bohemian Pilseners, but it will efficiently introduce the style to their Gardner patrons.
