MesandSim (7109) - London, - JUN 26, 2010
A Mes rate. Cask in the Anchor.
Semi hazy gold with a faint white head. Faint wheaty hint in the aroma with some quite sweet but pleasant enough malt underneath. A little raw and unrefined in the mouth. Slightly astringent and a very assertive but not particularly spectacular bitterness. It works a lot better in the finish.

johndoughty (2946) - cheslyn hay, West Midlands, ENGLAND - DEC 30, 2011
Bottle. Golden with a small head. Some hops and a gentle bitterness. The slight acidity detracts from what otherwise would be a very pleasant bitter.

bottle as Budleigh Pale Ale from Budleigh Wines, Budleigh Salterton, Devon, UK. Hazy golden colour, large white head, very persistent. Malty base, pleasantly fruity touch with a good, bitter-hoppy finish.

Cask gravity at Reading BF 2010. Badged as Isca DPA. Gold, no real head. Rassy hop aroma. It’s ok, decent hay hop. OK, if not exceptional

Cask conditioned handpump Anchor Birmingham. A golden coloured beer with a white head and some slight haze. A fusty farty slightly sweet aroma which transfers to the mouth. Rubbery and not very good.
