750mL thanks to Simon at Cave a Bulles. Pours cloudy light orange with a diminishing quick head. Sugary, red apple oxidized nose with
acetaldehyde. No lace. Taste is odd and tangy with water and cantaloupe and honeydew melon. No stickiness. No hop character. Tangy, thin, fruit juicy palate. Decent fruit juice tanginess. How about using some hops?

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 fiulijn (10421) - Como, ITALY - JAN 11, 2010
Tasting at Papsø’s Hazy deep blond color. The aroma of this beer at least is a bit fruity and honeyish. It has a reasonable body structure, without real malt qualities but with an average sweetness; in the end, signature of the brewery, there is light yeast; also the alcohol, although low, manages to show up; low bitterness. Average French beer.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a hazy white head. Fruity nose. Medium body, sweet orange accents and other fruits - apricots perhaps. Subdued bitterness. Very far from a classic Belgian Wit. 110110
3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 thebeertourist (4060) - Oslo, NORWAY - FEB 6, 2009
Bottle from Caves à Bulles, Paris. Hazy orange with a smallish head. Bready and fruity aroma, caramel. The quince provides some unique aromas and flavours, a nice blend of orange and lemons, but still rather balanced between citric and sweet (or rather tilting to the sweet side, actually). A bit flat. It is nice to encounter some new flavours in between, and this Belgian-style wit provides that with elegance.
