Süßlicher, malzig alkoholischer Beginn. Im Mittelteil etwas wässrig, schade. Malziger werdend, süßlich, deutlich brotig. Nett – aber reißt einen nicht vom Hocker. /8/8/10/9/10

Bottle from La Cave ŕ Bulles, Paris, as Garrigues Bičre en Barrique n°1
Hazy amber color, with minimum head. The aroma is simpler than expected, apples and booze. Simple flavor, mild sweetness, some overripe apples, and a boozy character.
Unimpressive, at least.

Bottled. A dark amber beer with a thin beige ´head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel and malt, leading to a dry finsih+ . Thanks yespr sharing.

Bottle 33cl, the real name is "Saison des amours vieillie en barrique de Cognac". An unclear amber ale without head. Nose is intense on vinous as well as oak / vanilla notes. Aroma is very caramel like and near to cognac feeling, very drinkable for 10° and enjoyable. Fruit notes such as grapes and apricot, chocolate notes too. This beer is very far from other barrel beer I’ve tasted, more vinous and dry. Finish is alcoholic with some acid vinous notes.
