Something must have been wrong with this keg, cause it tasted very lager-y and not at all as a Pale Ale (even English one). Did not like it.
3.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 omhper (17561) - Stockholm, SWEDEN - FEB 4, 2013
Bottled at La Fine Mousse, Paris. Hazy deep golden, rich firm head. Pleasant herbal honey aroma. Quite sweet with clean, rounded mouthfeel and evident crystal malt character. Caramelized sugar and English hops. Salty mid bitter finish.
2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 sebletitje (5536) - Enghien, BELGIUM - NOV 24, 2012
33cl bottle, BB 25/03/2014. 5.6% abv on this batch, to me another sign that the guys cannot brew the same batch consistently, and the quality shows in the beer.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 erickok (2374) - Tours, FRANCE - NOV 19, 2012
Light orange, misty body with stable white creamy head. Very nice, delicate mild hoppy aroma. Bit Belgian, but with a modern profile. Quite sweet malt base. Orange candy and fresh herbs. Interesting quite bitter base, clean yeast profile (even with all the yeast residue in the bottle’s neck). Refreshing active carbonation, which I like. This beer does a lot just right. Not extreme or overly, but a modern and well hopped, refreshing pale ale. good stuff. (33cl bottle, from Brewberry if I remember correctly)
3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 fiulijn (12360) - Malmö, DENMARK - OCT 28, 2012
Bottle from La Cave à Bulles, Paris, bb 13/02/14 Hazy light amber color with generous compact head, everlasting. Some aroma of malt, and yeast. The mouthfeel is dryish; some malt and caramel flavor, smooth, with quite strong bitterness, light and delicate fruity touch, but also with some yeast. Average beer.
