18/II/2012 on tap @ La Capsule (Lille) - BB: n/a (2012-144)
Clear dark blond beer, irregular white head, very stable, adhesive. Aroma: exotic fruits, passion fruit and pineapple, little bit of dairy, sweaty feet. MF: low carbon, medium body. Taste: fruity start, citrus, grapefruit, bit of yoghurt or fresh cheese. Aftertaste: dry piny bitterness, some exotic fruit, still that cheesy / dairy note, a bit weird.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Fred82 (1992) - Québec City, Quebec, CANADA - FEB 16, 2012
330ml bottle from La Cave à Bulle as Frappadingue..
Appearance : Slightly hazy orange with medium foamy and creamy head. Long head retention, lots of lacing.
Aroma : Resinous and floral hops with sharp citrusy notes. Vibrant aroma with notes of pine. Light notes of passion fruits.
Taste : Very resinous and piny. Light fruits. Resinous finish with pine and fruits. Light malt and very light caramel. Fairly bitter.
Palate : Nice carbonation.
Overall : Nice IPA. A bit too resinous to be quaffable for me.. still fairly drinkable. Not as elegant as Thiriez Blonde I had just before but still very well made.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 jaghana (2829) - Strasbourg (France), FRANCE - OCT 24, 2011
Bottle 33cl from Mondial de la biere (with name La Frappiste). A yellow beer with huge head. Nose is fully on hops, grassy, resin and fresh luppuline. Aroma is very nice, not too malty so hops bouquet can give its best, nice resin and grassy notes even with toasted hints herbal bitterness, light citrus notes, impressive grassy finish, lovely.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20 thebeertourist (4269) - Oslo, NORWAY - NOV 30, 2010
Bottle from Caves à Bulles. Pours golden with a rich, lacing head. Fruity aroma with notes of caramel. Somewhat grainy, hints of fruit, hops and caramel. Quite bitter. Note sure if it hits the mark completely, but hints of originality are detected and always appreciated.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 DeanF (1537) - Iqaluit, Nunavut, CANADA - NOV 12, 2010
Possibly their Christmas beer for 2010? Pours with a big sea of solid off-white head and a foggy yellow-bright gold colour. Aroma is a lot of hops. Taste is hops in perfume form, infused in the beer, rather than sitting on top. Very IPA-like and refreshing. Bitter finish. A good hoppy brew.
