Bottle from Cave à Bulles. Cloudy ruddy brown with a small yellowish head. Good chocolatey fruit aroma. Dry chocolate, good fruity flavours, well-balanced. Likeable.

Hmm, an English pale ale... brewed by the French. All right, I’ll buy it - pours with no head and a foggy mahogany body. Aroma is all hops, like an IPA smell. Taste is smooth with just a hint of malts and a whole lot of hops. Very English-like, average mouthfeel.

Bottle 330ml.
Clear light to medium yellow color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, toasted, moderate hoppy, citrus, hops flower oil. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, dry. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. [20100111]

Tasting at Papsø’s, vintage 2009
Light aroma of English Ale, moldy, with some hops, yeast. Dry mouthfeel, with light cereals flavor. Weak. Overy bitter, without pourpose. Wrong.

Bottled. A hazy light golden beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of malt, citrusy and flowery hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of flowery and perfumy hops, on a lightly malty back ground, leading to a quite bitter finish. Thanks yespr for sharing.
