Clear medium amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, nutty, dusty malt, light to moderate hoppy, grass, strawberry, marmalade. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, marmalade. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130405]

Bottle at CGarvie tasting. It pours deep amber-brown with a small off-white head. The nose is brown sugar, candied peel, spice, light meatiness, sweet honey and apricot. The taste is brown bread, spice, earth, tangy citrus peel, some bitterness and light alcohol warmth with a very dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Ok, but nothing special.
