Sweaty yeasty aroma, caramel, well developed, basement. Rich flavour with concentrated fruits and sweet sticky notes. Apple pie, Oatmeal cookies and still sort of refreshing. Dangerous! Love the sticky concentrate. Great stuff. (After Deanso’s tasting)

Pours hazy mahogany into a snifter. White head quickly recedes to mottle surface. Toffee and pit fruit aromas. Dark caramel and toasted nuts upfront turning warm in the lasting resin and chestnut finish.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a hazy dark amber with a small off-white head. Lovely aroma of caramel, nuts and overripe fruit - everything good about an English style Barley Wine. Rich body, caramel and nuts and a great oxidized note. Some warming alcohol. Super delicious. 301012

Bottle 33cl, an amber dark beer with medium creamy head. Nose is on caramel, malt, cereals, sweet, alcohol notes. Aroma is very malty with caramel and licorice, yes some diacetyl as well as fig and dry grapes, light dark chocolate, excellent stuff. finish is on grassy hops, butterscotch, vanilla and fig, very well done, especially for a french product, well done Gwenael !
