bottle from Village de la Bičre Strasbourg. Hazy pale golden colour, mid-sized white head. Good malt flavours with a fruity and yeasty touch. Spicy background with pepper and ginger (which are ingredients). The beer starts on the mild and malty side, but soon there is a hot punch of the pepper and ginger. Very interesting and well made - just the right amount of pepper and ginger not to overpower the beer.

Clear medium orange yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted, caramel, light to moderate hoppy, moderate yeasty, ginger, sweet chili fruit. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration, sopay ginger, light chili burn. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120623]

Pours clear golden with a white head. Aroma has notes of malt, ginger and a hint of chili. Taste is medium sweet and light bitter with a long ginger and chili finish. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle. A clear, golden beer topped by a small, off-white head. The aroma has some ginger, but not too much, still enough to hide most other aromas. In the mouth, it’s medium bodied, with pleasant carbonation and a little chili burn in the back of the mouth. Ginger, chili, some pale malts and a faint bitterness in the flavor. Lasting finish where the chili tickles the mouth. Quite decent for a pale chili beer. 120623

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are vegetables, ginger, pepper, malt and hops.

Bottle 33cl, an amber beer with medium head. Nose is very fruity on ginger and orange notes. Aroma is very peppery at the beginning, ginger comes afterwards and chili at the finish with yeast and licorice notes. Finish is long with good bitterness, chili notes, dark pepper and fresh green pepper skin, lemon and vegetable hints. Very interesting beer, enough sweet to support the spicy side, long aftertaste, good try !
