Bottle. Amber with lastng thin head and lacing. Light wood, cardboard and hop aroma. Hop and caramel flavour. A bit buttery.

Bottle, thanks Colin and Kendra. Medium yellow/orange small white head. Decent citrus aroma. Taste is hoppy enough but on th malty side of things. Light to medium body. Pretty standard stuff - enjoyable and a good choice as a fresh local every day beer, but nothing I’d search out for.

A: Poured a golden copper color, mostly clear with a slight haze to it. Small, white head that is quite light and faded to a thin film. S: Very hoppy, floral aroma. Quite nice, with a bit of citrus and grassiness coming through. T: Floral and earthy tones throughout, it’s a pretty hoppy beer with a very bitter finish. Long duration as a result. M: Medium-bodied, slight creaminess, with an average carbonation. D: This is definitely one of Garrison’s better offerings... not up to their Imperial Pale Ale, but it blows the other beers out of the water. The high bitterness at the finish prevents it from being a multi-drinker.

341 ml bottle from a mixed 6er that was a bday present from my sister. pours orangish gold with a slightly off white head. great retention. very odd nose. orange creamsicle, tangerine, mango, slight toffee. the flavour is quite malty with some hop flavour and a touch of bitterness. this one drinks like a baby version of the garrison imperial pale. decent pale ale overall.

Bottle from the brewery, brought back from Halifax by my lovely wife. Golden-copper with a very slight haze and a small white head. Mild aroma - light malt, hints of orange peel and something that oddly reminds me of dandelion, even though I know that dandelions don’t have much smell. Medium bodied. First sip of the beer is all hops, very sharp and astringent, not very pleasant, but I let it warm up a but and the flavour filled out somewhat and became much more enjoyable. Not a stand-out beer, but a solid, well-hopped pale.

[2546-20091024] 341mL bottle. Tree bark and corn mash aroma. Clear, light orange yellow body with a medium-lasting foamy white head. More corn straw grains in the flavour along with heaviness and bitterness. Medium body is rough. Fair but rough.

had with Troy Burtch, nice copper color, some bit of foam. nose is citrus but kinda astringent. flavor is similar ok but odd finish maybe an off bottle will try to get another bottle

2009-10-24. Golden body with smooth white head. 3+ Aroma is grassy floral hops. 6+ Flavour is similar, grassy floral hops, moderate bitterness throughout. 6+ Average palate is a touch light but smooth. Pale ale? The hop profile makes me thing of a lager. Decent brew but not really to my tastes. Bottle shared by Tupalev
