3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Phatman (122) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 9, 2011
From bottle. Pours a cloudy amber/orange colour with a healthy lasting head. Some floral grassy notes on the nose. Wham, hoppy bitterness that goes on and on and on and on, not much else there unfortunately for my palate but if you’re on the hunt for hops then this should be on your list of stops. Would buy again
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 rwgould (215) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - OCT 1, 2011
Appearance: Transparent orange brown, frothy white head, visible carbonation. Aroma: Very hoppy. Strong notes of vanilla, banana, almonds. Palate: Medium bodied, smooth, long, slightly dry finish. Taste: Quite bitter, slightly sweet, slightly salty. I like it, despite being slightly too bitter for me.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Rastacouere (5923) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - SEP 29, 2011
Dark IPA, of a deep amber shade. cloudy and wearing a slowly fading off-white cover. Resiny, grapefruity, earthy hop aroma with a strong crystal malt backbone providing caramel and toasty nuances. Rather straightforward example with abundant crystal malts upfront, but quickly leading to a dry, very leafy finish with pungent bitterness, agressive and contrasting with the darkish maltiness. After swallowing, memories of citrus fruits remain for a while, all within a bitter frame. Thanks Marc.

Love this beer! Beautiful citrusy hop front, with some malt (caramel, butterscotch?) in the back end. Medium creamy in the mouth with good carbonation and lots of tasty floaty bits.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 fiulijn (10421) - Como, ITALY - AUG 24, 2011
Bottle from Brewery Creek, Vancouver Hazy red-amber color; medium head. The aroma of hop is very piney. The body is lean; good toffee flavor, some caramel too, with low sweetness, followed by strong bitterness (maybe too much), resiny; and there is some lack of sugars overall. Aggressive.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 HeistAlmighty (542) - Saint John, New Brunswick, CANADA - JUL 22, 2011
650ml bottle. Incredibly bitter, I couldn’t finish it all in one sitting. It actually seemed better the next day a little flat. It was so bitter it made my wife cry. The hops did cover the ABV, though. Overall, hops. Nothing but hops. A bowl of hops for breakfast would have the same effect.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 hellbilly (3053) - scottsdale über alles, Arizona, USA - JUL 21, 2011
bottle at dakine’s 1/2/11.
thick. dirty pale maple color with a white ring foa a head.
it smells of malt, honey, wood, bitter spicy hops and faint citrus.
the flavor is odd... salty, malty and rich but not sweet? bitterness finishes then lingers. it also cuts through the medium/full body. very strange.7/4/6/3/14-
