2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
poured a bright amber-red 2 inch tan head lasts a bit then goes to a glass lacing ring.
Sweet toasty caramel grains up front is then balanced with a rush of cedar and citrus tastes from the hopping...finishes wet and slightly dry with a great biscuit after taste

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Rouge claire avec une petite mousse beige. L’arôme faible du malt. Le goût est très maigre aussi. Un peu de malt, très peu amertume.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
On tap. Wasn’t really impressed, but not really offended either. Taste kind of earthy with caramel, nuts. Had kind of a medium bitterness. I never really enjoy the aftertaste of reds and this one is like the others. I just find it hard to want to go back for more, but alas I must finish every beer.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
On tap at Garrison; nice ruby red color. This one was my least favorite of the beers I tried. Overall OK, but a little hoppy and malty for a Red Ale. Not sure if I would buy again

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Aroma is a rich caramel malt character. Taste is a rich maltiness paired with a nice hopiness. Clear amber body with a creamy head that retains fairly well.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
Pours a red brown with light stable head. Aroma of malt and nuts with hints of earth. Mild taste - very mild. Smooth but nothing much there other than malty hints.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Location: Draft at Maxwell’s Plum, 7/7/13
Aroma: The aroma is fairly typical, with earth, some caramel, and toasted malts
Appearance: It pours an amberish color with a fairly small, off-white head
Flavor: The taste is malt-forward, with average sweetness, and a light, earthy hop bitterness
Palate: The body is light-medium and it has a decent mouthfeel overall
This one was decent, but not very exciting. It’s on-style well enough I guess. A forgettable beer for sure.

2.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
341ml bottle into a tumbler. Pours a transparent ruby/amber with not much in the way of head. Smooth and light on the palate, not much in the way of flavour. A bit malty. Not much to it.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured from a 341mL bottle. Clear amber colour with nice beige head. Caramel malt aroma with light biscuity malt taste and creamy texture. Simple, but effective.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Clear, reb brown colour with a fairly creamy head. muted aroma but has notes of caramel, roast and malts. On the palate is has a roasted note, creamy profile and a hint of funky tartness on the finish that is hard to place. Easy drinking red with a weird funk.
