1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 3/20
strong aromas of maple - maybe slightly artificial? Overly sweet - tastes like maple cookies and definite artificial maple flavouring. finishes with similar flavour. Sweetness might make for a dessert beer, but off-maple flavour is too prevalent. yuck.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Clear brew with a red/amber colour. Smoked maple aroma , caramel mixed with a weird/unpleasant celery note. On the palate it is medium bodied, creamy and has a maple flavour and some light malt flavour and finishes fairly dry. interesting, easy drinking, but that celery note is really off-putting.

[bottle at DwEEBs meeting]
Celery and real maple syrup aroma with some toasted malt detectable behind the maple flavour. Clear, dark amber under wisps and a ring of fine bubbles. Nice, real maple syrup flavour together with some toasty malt and notes of bread crust, celery, and watermelon malt. Medium body, medium carbonation, slightly bitter finish.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle from Brewery Creek, Vancouver
Hazy amber color, almost no head. It has a nice aroma of malple syrup and caramel coated nuts. Lean body, dry mouthfeel, caramel flavor with a nutty edge, but also light sourness.
Too much fermentation left no sugar and body to talk about.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
500ml bottle pours amber in color with a decent off-white head that settles and leaves some traces of lacing on the glass. Aroma is light caramel and maple. Taste is light caramel and maple sweetness and a mild hop bitterness. Medium body and light carbonation. A decent enough amber, but nothing special here.

Mostly sweet nose overall with no hops noticed. The taste is mostly sweet with a nice caramel maltiness and maple syrup taste. Medium body with some light carbonation. Nothing special about this brew, its just very average.
