Not sure why I bought this. Poured out a thin brown brew with a large, fizzy off white cap. The smell is maple and brown sugar and I’m not convinced if I’m interested in drinking this. The maple is quite nice actually. A bit rich and I think there is a hint of grains with a light fruit finish. The first sip leaves my mouth surprised - not in a good way. Odd sourness ruined this right off the bat. The maple is somewhere in the void between tart sourness and a quick fading hop bite that didn’t fit what so ever. There is maple and brown sugar and bitterness. I actually just enjoyed the wide yawning cat breath I just absorbed form one inch away more than this beer. Can’t get past the tartness. The beer is thin as well. Yes, I’m dumping this crap.

Bottle 500ml.

Clear medium to dark orange amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to beige head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, moderate to heavy maple syrup. Flavour is light heavy sweet and light moderate bitter with a long duration, maple, burnt syrup bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120324]

Unclear maple copper, foamy off white head fades quickly. Burnt brown sugar and maple malt aroma. Sweet maple taste, thin caramel malts. Low hopped, average carbonation. Bitter sour finish. Not great. LF (Lagerboy Friendly)

Hazy amber color, almost no head. It has a nice aroma of malple syrup and caramel coated nuts. Lean body, dry mouthfeel, caramel flavor with a nutty edge, but also light sourness.
Too much fermentation left no sugar and body to talk about.

Bottle @ Miss January / AA Meeting Afterparty Tasting, March 2012. Pours hazy amber with a small creamy head. Nose is extremely sweet. Maple syrup, caramel and sugar. Flavor likewise. Odd..

500ml bottle pours amber in color with a decent off-white head that settles and leaves some traces of lacing on the glass. Aroma is light caramel and maple. Taste is light caramel and maple sweetness and a mild hop bitterness. Medium body and light carbonation. A decent enough amber, but nothing special here.

This one pours a dark amber with a thick two finger head of light tan. Some nice lacing forms on the glass. the nose is sweet with a light maple presence and mild caramel malt. Mostly sweet nose overall with no hops noticed. The taste is mostly sweet with a nice caramel maltiness and maple syrup taste. Medium body with some light carbonation. Nothing special about this brew, its just very average.

Bizarre combination of bitter and sweet. However, it is quite nice and would try it again.

Bottle... Poured dark amber, reddish with a beige-ish head. Nose had malts and sugars with faint maple tones. However the initial flavor was dominant with maple syrup. Like thinned out maple syrup with carbonation.

500ml bottle. Strong maple flavour, with an underlying metal and burnt taste. I found that is started bad, but got better the more I drank.
