thedm (3833), Fort Wayne, Indiana, USA Nov 6, 2006 This bottled brew from the brewery poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that was long lasting and left behind a transparent uncarbonated caramel brown colored body and a poor lacing. The aroma was hoppy and oak. The flat mouth feel was smooth at the start and mediumly tingly at the finish. The flavor contained notes of malt hops sweet and oak. A decent one but not one that I would consider buying again. beaconstreet (811), Washington DC, USA Apr 24, 2005 This (I suppose) is what they call their 3 ring IPA, once cask conditioned. In any event, they felt it necessary to rename it and feature it as the guest cask conditioned beer of the week. Who knows if they tweaked it along the way. Pretty delicious and drinkable, though not with the utterly outstanding hops you find in other IPAs. On the upper end of decent.
